Apexx Global, the multi-award-winning global payments platform, has bolstered its team by hiring Lucy Underwood as Head of Partnerships and making Jan Ruebel its first VP of Sales Europe.
The company intends for the two appointments to spur further business growth and to increase efficiency, conversion rates, and cost savings to merchants across the world. Apexx’s partner-agnostic program combines acquirers, gateways, shopping carts and Alternative Payments Methods into a single API connection.

Underwood has a deep well of experience in the financial and technology industries, having previously worked with Finastra and Sage Plc, looking after major payment partners like PayPal, FIS, MasterCard, and Visa. Ruebel, meanwhile, has more than two decades of global experience in travel and payments. He previously worked at Wirecard, where he led the Travel & Mobility sales team for more than ten years.
