Danica Despotović is a data scientist at Apneal since May 2022, focusing on the development of machine learning and deep learning models, particularly for accelerometer signals and ECG signal analysis. Prior to this role, Danica was a PhD student at the Institut de la Vision, where research centered on Bayesian inference models to analyze neuronal spiking activity. Danica also has experience as an online tutor, covering subjects such as probability theory and data science, and served as a junior research associate at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. Additional experience includes a summer internship at the Donders Institute and a role as a junior assistant at the Petnica Science Center. Danica earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Sorbonne Université and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Signal Processing and Electrical Engineering from the University of Novi Sad.
