Kristie Barth

Kristie Barth is an accomplished immunologist with extensive experience in leading research teams and developing innovative biological therapies. Currently serving as Associate Director of Immunology at Apogee Therapeutics since April 2024, Barth previously held the position of Principal Scientist at Tectonic Therapeutic, Inc., where responsibilities included managing cross-functional teams and supporting therapeutic programs related to fibrosis. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Evelo Biosciences, where Barth led investigations into the gut-brain axis and mechanistic studies involving monoclonal microbes, and Associate Scientist at Merck, focusing on human air-liquid interface cultures and inflammatory bowel disease mechanisms. Kristie Barth earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Boston University School of Medicine and holds a B.S. in Biology from Juniata College.
