Jane Barghothi

Jane Barghothi was appointed Vice Chancellor for Advancement in July 2020. Jane joined Appalachian State University in July 2019 as the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Development. Prior to this role, Jane was the Executive Director of Development at the University of Georgia. She has also worked in fundraising roles at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and the University of Wyoming. Jane is a proud Appalachian State alum where she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She also has a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of South Carolina. Jane is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina.
