Molly Wilkerson Keener

Molly Wilkerson Keener serves as the Associate Dean for Collections at Appalachian State University since June 2025, following a long tenure at Wake Forest University that began in October 2006, where Molly held the positions of Director of Digital Initiatives & Scholarly Communication, Scholarly Communication Librarian, and Reference Librarian. In these roles, Molly led innovative digital initiatives, supported faculty and student scholarship, educated on copyright and author rights, managed several collections, and provided public access policy support. Molly's earlier experience includes a Graduate Assistantship at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a role as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble. Educational credentials include a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MLIS in Library & Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
