Richard Freudenstein

Richard Freudenstein is a seasoned executive and non-executive director with extensive experience across various sectors. Notably, Richard served as the Chief Executive Officer of Foxtel Group from 2011 to 2016 and of News Digital Media from 2006 to 2011. Currently, Richard holds the position of Non-Executive Director at Cricket Australia and Cochlear, and has been a Non-Executive Director at REA Group since 2006. Richard also serves as the Chairman of Appen and Deputy Chancellor at the University of Sydney. With a background in law and economics from the University of Sydney, Richard has contributed to various committees, including as Chair of the People and Culture Committee for Coles Group Ltd and involvement with the Audit and Human Resources Committees at REA Group.
