Neha Kondekar

Neha Kondekar is a Coatings Subject Matter Expert at Apple since June 2022, specializing in process design and quality improvements for cosmetic and functional coatings on iPhone products. Prior to this role, Neha served as a Process Engineer at Lam Research from September 2020 to June 2022, focusing on the development of thin-film processes for 3D NAND chips and enhancing efficiency through Python automation. Neha's academic background includes a PhD in Nanomaterials and Electronic Devices from Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by research as a Graduate Research Assistant exploring phase transformations and battery lifecycle improvements. Additional experience includes an internship at Google XX, where Neha led materials R&D for academic startup initiatives, and a summer internship at GE Power & Water, conducting failure analysis on gas turbine blades. Neha holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
