Mareike Ploog

Mareike Ploog began their work experience in 2013 as a Process Optimization professional at BMW Group. Mareike then joined Volkswagen AG in 2016, working on Maps and Localization for autonomous driving. In 2017, they transitioned to Argo AI, where they served as a Software Developer and later as a Product Manager until 2020. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at CARIAD as a Solution Architect and later as a Portfolio Manager. Currently, Mareike is employed at Applied Intuition as part of the Engineering team.

Mareike Ploog holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Maschinenbau from Leibniz Universität Hannover. Mareike then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) in Navigation and Field Robotic, also from Leibniz Universität Hannover. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Foundation Level from iSAQB® - International Software Architecture Qualification Board in March 2022, the NVIDIA DLI Certificate - Fundamentals of Deep Learning from NVIDIA in April 2021, the Advanced Product Management: Vision, Strategy & Metrics from Udemy in November 2019, the Certified SAFe® 5 Lean Portfolio Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2021, the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2021, and the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in March 2019.
