Sebastien Cotton serves as the Vice President of Hardware Engineering at Apptronik, focusing on the development of next-generation humanoid robots. Previously, Sebastien held the same title at Neocis, where the Hardware Engineering division was expanded to introduce surgical robots and accessories for an FDA-regulated market. At NVIDIA, as the Director of Robotics Systems, Sebastien established the robotics hardware division and defined the product roadmap. While at Magic Leap, Sebastien progressed from Manager to Director of System Engineering, leading teams in systems architecture and testing for spatial computer platforms. As Chief Executive Officer at Robotics Unlimited, Sebastien oversaw all business operations for technology provision to major toy companies. With a background in research at IHMC, CNRS, and Université de Montpellier, Sebastien earned a PhD in Robotics, an MS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science.
