Barbara Bressack

Barbara Bressack has worked for Henry Ford Health System since 2004 , currently in the capacity of Vice President, Strategy & Planning. Barbara has worked in both the Strategic Planning department, as well as, in Organizational and HR Development. Barbara recently led a high performing evaluation team that recommended building new, innovative multi-disciplinary ambulatory sites in the cities of Bloomfield and Royal Oak. She was also an integral member of the strategic planning team that guided the organization’s 2018 enterprise wide strategic plan, as well as, leading the organization’s market level strategies in 2019.

Prior to serving as the Director and then VP of Strategy & Planning, Barbara was the Manager of Leadership Development where she oversaw multiple leadership development programs and employee engagement for HFHS. Barbara holds a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan, where she also received her Bachelor of Arts degree. While in her graduate school program, Barbara studied abroad in South Africa focusing on the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Barbara and her family live in Oakland County. She currently serves on the board of ACCESS and Kadima.
