Antoine Abi Rached

Antoine Abi Rached was appointed in January 2020, as Group General Counsel & Board of Directors Secretary of the Arabtec Group of Companies.

Antoine has over 23 years of legal experience, as a qualified lawyer, strategist, and practitioner. He has built and driven multiple legal functions and has held the positions of Group General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, and sat on Executive Boards, ExCom’s, and other leadership committees, in a number of companies, namely Drake and Scull International, Abdul Lateef Jameel International, Al Rostamani Group, Dubai Holding/Sama Dubai, and American express, amongst others. Covering a wide geographical area, from the MENAT region, Europe, Africa and the USA, and was mainly involved in large restructuring work, construction, automotive, and corporate commercial.

Antoine holds a JD in law, and a Masters in International Laws, from the Washington College of Law, the American University in Washington DC. Antoine is fluent in Arabic, English, French, and Italian.

Antoine will be reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, and to the Board of Directors of Arabtec Holding.
