Lindsey Torres is a seasoned food service professional with extensive experience in diverse dining environments. Currently serving as Food Service Director at Chartwells School Dining Services K12 since July 2020, Lindsey oversees a staff of 30 in six kitchens, manages a significant student enrollment, and ensures compliance with USDA and MDE nutritional standards. Previously, as Director of Food & Nutrition at TouchPoint Support Services, Lindsey managed various food service operations including patient and retail services. With a solid background at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services where roles ranged from Director of Catering to Retail Supervisor, Lindsey has consistently driven sales and implemented effective marketing strategies. In addition to operational responsibilities, Lindsey has served as the President of the School Nutrition Association of Michigan’s Oakland County chapter and is involved in community partnerships and wellness initiatives, highlighting a commitment to nutrition and service excellence. Educationally, Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Oakland University.
