Heba Nowyhed

Heba Nowyhed serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Arcellx since November 2024 and as a Scientific Advisor at ServareGMP since April 2022, contributing to the development of biologics for significant unmet diseases. Previously, Heba held various roles at IconOVir Bio from July 2020 to November 2024, including Chief Scientific Officer, SVP of Research, and Vice President of Translational Research. Additional experience includes serving as a Science Advisor and Senior Associate at Vida Ventures, LLC, from August 2019 to November 2024, and being a board member at Kyverna Therapeutics. At Kite Pharma, from February 2016 to August 2019, Heba worked as an Associate Director and Senior Scientist, focusing on non-clinical product development. Early career experiences include a postdoctoral fellowship at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology and a graduate student role at Yale University School of Medicine, culminating in a PhD in Immunobiology. Educational background includes a B.S. from UCLA in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.
