John W. Eaves

John W. Eaves retired as the Company’s chief executive officer until April 2020, at which time he assumed the position of executive chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Eaves held the position of chief executive officer from April 2012 until his retirement in April 2020. During his tenure with the Company, Mr. Eaves has also held the positions of president and chief operating officer; senior vice president of marketing; and vice president of marketing and president of the Company’s marketing subsidiary. Mr. Eaves joined the Company in 1987 after serving in various marketing related positions at Diamond Shamrock Coal Company and Natomas Coal Company. Mr. Eaves joined the Company’s Board of Directors in February 2006. Public company directorships in the last five years: CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (from July 2017 to the present).
