Christopher Fisher

Superintendent of Catholic Schools

Christopher Fisher is the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of San Francisco, overseeing 90 schools and serving approximately 20,000 students and their families. Fisher has authored and contributed to various publications on Catholic education and has spoken at esteemed institutions including Yale and Notre Dame. Prior to this role, Fisher spent a decade as a transformative leader at Portsmouth Abbey, where they taught Humanities and led multiple innovative initiatives. Fisher holds an M.A. in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas, a graduate certificate in School Leadership from Harvard Business School, and a B.A. in Political Philosophy from Salve Regina University.
