Tashia Dam

Tashia Dam is the Chief Pedagogy Officer at Area9. Prior to that, they were an Expert advisor in the Ministry of Education's Council on Technology in Education in Denmark from May 2017 to October 2018. In this role, Tashia worked with a group of technology advisors to help shape the Danish system of education in a digital age. From February 2017 to November 2018, Tashia was the VP, Research and Innovation at Lix Technologies where they were responsible for research and innovation for the company's mid/long-term product strategy. At Lix, Tashia worked closely with the CEO and Head of Product to align with short/mid-term strategy, overall business strategy, and vision.

Tashia Dam has a Master of Arts in General Pedagogy from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, as well as a Master of Arts in Philosophy of Education from the same school. Tashia also has a Phd. in "Individualization and Institutionalization of Childhood in Contemporary Welfare Systems" from Danish Graduate School of Psychology in Copenhagen. In addition, they have two Extra BA courses in Medieval and Renaissance Studies and Multimedia, communication and teaching from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Finally, they are certified as an Area9 U Learning Engineer.

Their manager is Urlik Juul Christensen , Chairman & CEO . They are on a team with Kaili Mitt - General Manager, Area9 Excellence Center Europe, Judy Albers - VP, Strategic Alliances, and Kelly McCready - VP Business Development .
