Vladimir Byalik

Vladimir Byalik is an experienced financial professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager for Emerging Markets Value at Ariel Investments since April 2023. Previously, Vladimir held various positions at AllianceBernstein from September 2004 to April 2023, including Portfolio Manager for both Emerging Markets Value and Frontier & Emerging Markets, as well as Senior Analyst roles focused on Emerging/Frontier Markets and Oil & Gas. Prior to that, Vladimir worked as a Manager at Marakon Associates from 2000 to 2004 and began a career as a Business Analyst at A.T. Kearney from 1995 to 1998. Vladimir holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, obtained between 1998 and 2000, and a degree in Economics from Wesleyan University, completed in 1995.
