Paul Merlo is an experienced engineering professional with extensive background in software development and leadership roles within the networking industry. Currently serving as Team Lead for Extensibility Engineering at Arista Networks since May 2022, Paul previously held various positions at Cisco from October 1999 to May 2022, culminating in the role of Software Development Manager. Contributions included leading teams in developing gNMI/gNOI functionality and enhancing automated testing for IOS-XE, as well as delivering innovative security applications. Paul's earlier roles involved technical leadership in software development for the Cisco 10000 router platform and extensive technical marketing for the ASR1000 series.
