Pierre Parent is the VP of Production at ARK Electronics. Pierre has over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry and has held various managerial positions during their career. Prior to joining ARK Electronics, Pierre was the Vice President at Numerex Corporation (now Sierra Wireless) where they managed operations, product development, and capital projects for the IoT platform company. Pierre was also responsible for overseeing the full product development life-cycle for new and existing wireless devices to ensure timelines, budgeting constraints, and high-quality delivery through launch. During their time at Numerex Corporation, Pierre was successful in cutting fixed costs by 80%+ annually through the development and implementation of a strategy to migrate in-house fulfillment operations to multiple 3rd party logistics warehouses. Pierre also revamped and streamlined operational functions at manufacturing and logistics centers to reduce expense and elevate efficiencies to meet financial, capacity, and delivery objectives. In addition, Pierre successfully merged 4 acquired companies into the business operations of the parent company within set timelines and objectives to assure implementation of security protocols and SEC regulatory compliance. Prior to their role at Numerex Corporation, Pierre was a Manager & Principal at QVT Technology Consulting.
