Andy Hu

Andy is a biopharma business leader with over 15 years of experience in corporate development and strategic leadership. He started his career as a physician, but has spent most of his career in advisory or operating roles at biotech companies of all sizes. Prior to Arkuda, He served as Chief Business Officer for Yarra Therapeutics, a rare disease focused spinout of a large biotech. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Dimension Therapeutics, which achieved a successful IPO and acquisition (by Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical) during his tenure. He also previously served as Senior Director of Corporate Development at Cubist Pharmaceuticals. Andy formerly worked as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Predictive Biosciences and has experience as a strategic consultant at Strategic Decisions Group and BCM Technologies. Andy received his MD from Baylor College of Medicine and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Jones Graduate School of Business.
