Yanxiang Catherine Wang

Yanxiang Catherine Wang is a Principal Computer Vision Architect at Arm, where responsibilities have included the development of image quality metrics for SDR and HDR content and the design of ISP blocks, specifically for defect pixel correction and HDR10 display products, since December 2016. Previous roles at Arm included Staff and Senior Computer Vision Engineer and Imaging Algorithm Engineer. Before Arm, Yanxiang served as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Sheffield, facilitating student learning in Advanced Signal Processing and MATLAB and supervising their assignments. Additionally, a Research Intern position at BBC R&D involved the development of coding tools for next-generation video content. Yanxiang holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Sheffield, a Master’s degree from Loughborough University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Hubei University of Technology.
