Douglas Bingham

Douglas Bingham is the SVP, CFO & Treasurer at Armstrong Flooring. Douglas has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Bingham started their career at Arthur Andersen LLP. Douglas then worked for Armstrong World Industries, Inc. as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. In January 2019, they became the Chief Financial Officer of Armstrong Flooring, Inc.

As the Chief Financial Officer of Armstrong Flooring, Inc., Bingham led a 85-person global finance function. Douglas was instrumental in pitching, negotiations, and service transition for divestiture of $400 million wood flooring business at a premium multiple. Douglas also restructured finance organization to upgrade skill set, establish a long-term perspective, and build a collaborative and engaged culture. In response to COVID-19, Bingham also secured new debt of $70 million and renegotiated more generous bank covenants.

Douglas Bingham has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from Cornell University. Douglas has studied finance, strategy, and biology.
