Vivian was appointed to the newly created role of Chief Simplification Officer in June 2022, from her previous role of Chief People Officer, which she has held since June 2020. As Chief Simplification Officer, Viv is responsible for the navigation of organisation wide programmes and projects, prioritisation, resource allocation, the simplification of our processes and improving our customer experience. Before Arqiva she was Chief People Officer at MS Amlin, a specialist commercial insurance provider. Prior to that she spent four years as People Director at Bupa UK, and 10 years in a variety of senior generalist and specialist HR roles at BT.
Viv has extensive experience in people, organisation and cultural change to drive high performance, leading programmes to modernise working practices, drive engagement and create diverse and inclusive environments. She also has experience in programme, project and change management, talent and leadership, training and development, benefits and compensation as well as acquisitions and divestments.
Viv is originally from Australia, has lived in London for the past 25 years. She has a son at university studying Engineering. She enjoys giving back and is currently a volunteer for Childline, and previously a 2012 Gamesmaker at the London Olympics and a Committee member for the local National Childbirth Trust.
