Darryl Eaton

Darryl Eaton has over twenty years of professional experience in the technology industry. Darryl began their career in 1998 as a Senior Engineer at Sapient Corporation, providing IT consulting services for clients such as Janus Funds, Hallmark, and Wells Fargo. In 1999, they joined WiredPlanet as the first employee and was promoted to Director of Technology, managing the development of the Webby-award nominated product, WiredPlanet.com. In 2000, they moved to Enuvis, Inc. where they were Software Architect and an early inventor of location-based solutions for mobile phones. Darryl then joined Kodak Gallery (Ofoto) in 2004 as a Product Manager. In 2005, they joined Yahoo! as a Senior Product Manager, where they conceived of, assembled the team for, and shipped Yahoo! Web Messenger and Yahoo! Photos. In 2007, they moved to PlayFirst, Inc. as Senior Director of Product Management, heading the product, design, and customer service teams. In 2009, they joined RightScale as Head of Product Management and UX Design, working closely with the executive team to define the product roadmap. In 2012, they co-founded RentTrack, where they were Head of Product & CTO, and grew the company and product from nothing to over 50 employees and processing billions in rent for the top property managers in the US. Darryl also pioneered market-leading rent reporting products across the three major credit bureaus, Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. In 2019, they co-founded LevelCredit and was Member of the Board of Directors and Head of Product & CTO. LevelCredit is the only company that helps consumers get the credit they deserve by reporting both rent and utility payments to the major credit bureaus. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Array as General Manager.

Darryl Eaton obtained their B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University between 1994 and 1998. Darryl then went on to pursue an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business between 2003 and 2005. In 2021, they obtained a Data Science certification from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. In 2012, they obtained a Practical Product Management certification from Pragmatic Institute. In 1993, they obtained a Private Pilot, Instrument Rated certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
