Rachel Vasseur

Rachel Vasseur is an experienced Associate Scientist I at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals with a strong background in wildlife research and pathology. Previous roles include Research Associate I at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, where Rachel performed post-mortem examinations and histologic tissue processing. Additional experience includes laboratory technician roles at San Diego Zoo Global, focusing on biological sample management and cytogenetic processes, as well as environmental surveys for endangered bird species. Rachel's early career included public outreach and animal care at Little Ponderosa Zoo and a pharmacy technician position at Kroger. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University, supplemented by a study abroad program in Ecuador/Galapagos.
