Gaurav Dixit

Gaurav Dixit currently serves as the Head of Hematology and BMT at Artemis Hospitals since October 2025. Previously, Gaurav worked as the Associate Director in charge of the Cellular Therapy Program at Paras Health and held the position of Visiting Faculty at The Nairobi West Hospital, where Gaurav led the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program and performed the first bone marrow transplant in the country in 2022. Gaurav also served as Head of Unit at Artemis Hospitals, where Gaurav initiated the CAR T cell program, and as Senior Consultant at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute, where Gaurav established the Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant. Earlier in Gaurav's career, Gaurav was a Consultant at Max Healthcare, where Gaurav started the Bone Marrow Transplant unit and treated the first patient with BMT at Max Shalimar Bagh. Gaurav received a DM in Clinical Hematology from Christian Medical College Vellore between August 2012 and August 2015.
