Etan Shapiro

Etan Shapiro is an experienced design professional currently serving as a Design team member at Wayward and as Head of Design at Artica since April 2023. Previously, Shapiro held the position of Head of Design at ASSURANCE from August 2016 to April 2023. In 2015, Shapiro co-founded MealSurfers, a platform aimed at helping individuals earn an income through cooking by providing necessary tools and resources. Earlier career roles include Product Designer at BNOTIONS, Design/UX/Marketing Consultant and Creative Marketing/Design Intern at Homesav, and Web Designer at Raceroster. Shapiro began the design journey as a Graphic Design Intern at Tact Marketing. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Advertising from Humber College, completed in 2014, and attendance at London Central Secondary School from 2006 to 2010.
