Carol Cheng

Carol Cheng, CMInstD, CA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and financial management. Currently, Carol serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Asia New Zealand Foundation, as well as a Board Member and Chair of the Risk and Finance Committee at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited. As Managing Director of Hong Consulting Limited, Carol offers virtual CFO services and expertise in various financial areas. Additional leadership roles include serving as Governing Council Member and Chair of the Risk, Audit and Finance Committee at the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand, and previous board positions with Auckland Tourism, Events & Economic Development and the New Zealand China Trade Association. Carol's background includes significant roles with PwC, Grant Thornton China, and LehmanBrown, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Auckland.
