Becca Van Nederynen is the current Head of People at Asimov. Becca previously served in the same role at Help Scout from May 2014 to April 2021.

At Help Scout, Becca was responsible for leading the way in developing remote-first company culture. Becca worked closely with CEO Nick to develop candidate-first hiring processes, new employee onboarding, and company values. Becca also built the People team and partnered with fellow executive leaders to develop and evolve talent management, compensation, and DEI strategies - all with a remote-first lens.

Under Becca's leadership, the team grew from 10 to 110 people located around the world. The team was responsible for creating and evolving people-first policies and practices to create an environment where employees could do their best work. Help Scout's employee engagement score never dipped below 83% during Becca's tenure, and their offer acceptance rate was almost 100%.

Becca is Help Scout's #1 fan and cheers them on from the sidelines as they continue to build customer-centric products and grow a people-first company.

Becca Van Nederynen has a MA in National and International Literatures in English from the University of London and a BA in English and Marketing from Northeastern University. Becca is also certified from RIVA Market Research & Training Institute in The Art & Science of Facilitating and from the Direct Marketing Association in CRM & Database Marketing Certification.
