Shari Gordon

Shari Gordon is an experienced vaccinologist and immunologist currently serving as the Senior Director of Immunology at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. since April 2020. Prior roles include Scientific Leader at ViiV Healthcare and GSK, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Shari's expertise encompasses evaluating strategies to reverse HIV latency, improving anti-viral immune responses, and coordinating large non-human primate studies for HIV vaccine candidates. A Doctor of Philosophy in Viral Immunology was obtained from Emory University, supported by a Master's degree in Virology from Georgia State University. Doctoral research focused on the immunological and virological characteristics affecting disease progression in SIV and HIV infections.
