Medical device startup Aspero Medical has expanded its leadership team with two new management hires. Allison Lyle is joining the company as Director of Engineering, while Jeff Castleberry will serve as Director of Operations.
"We are extremely pleased to add both Allison and Jeff to the Aspero Medical team,” said Aspero Medical founder and CEO Mark Rentschler. "They bring the broad experience in new product development, operations, and product commercialization that is necessary for Aspero Medical to realize the launch and commercialization of our products and technology. I look forward to working with them as we continue to build out the company and our product offering."
Ms. Lyle comes to Aspero Medical from Bolder Surgical™, where her 10-year career included experience at all stages of medical device product management. In her new role, she will begin by overseeing development of the company’s C-Tube large bowel intraoperative endoscopy balloon overtube.
Mr. Castleberry has more than 35 years of experience in the medical device industry, including in his previous role as CEO of ForCast Orthopaedics, Inc. He will bring to Aspero Medical his considerable expertise in helping to develop new companies and bring products and technologies to market.
