Kai Zhao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, business development, and management within the life sciences and food ingredient industries. Currently serving as Managing Director of AB Biotek at Associated British Foods plc since 2019, Kai Zhao previously held multiple leadership roles at Novozymes, focusing on corporate strategy and portfolio optimization from 2014 to 2019. Earlier experience includes consulting roles at Accenture UK, strategic policy work at the World Health Organization, and biochemical research at Cancer Research UK.
