Seung Min Kim

Seung Min Kim is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting. Currently serving as a White House reporter for The Associated Press since July 2022, Seung Min Kim previously held a similar role at The Washington Post, covering the dynamics between the Trump White House and Capitol Hill from February 2018 to July 2022. Prior to this, Seung Min Kim was a Congressional Reporter at Politico from August 2009 to February 2018, where significant coverage included major events like the fiscal cliff and immigration debates. Additional roles include reporting and online news production at USA TODAY, and prior reporting positions at The Star-Ledger, The Daily Iowan, and other media outlets. Seung Min Kim holds an M.A. in Journalism from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Iowa.
