Janet Gardner

Janet Gardner OBE is an accomplished education leader currently serving as the Co-Chair of the Hiring & Skills Group within the Anchors’ Institution Network at the Greater London Authority and as the Chair of the London Region for the Association of Colleges. In the role of Principal & CEO at Waltham Forest College since July 2020, Janet has previously held significant positions such as Deputy CEO at Newham College of Further Education, Executive Director and Principal at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College, and Director of Curriculum at the College of Haringey, Enfield & North East London. Janet's educational qualifications include a Strategic Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a PGCE from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, a degree in Education and Psychology from Middlesex University, and an Associate of Arts from Year Up United.
