Tanya Spilovoy, EdD, holds expertise in higher education leadership and open education initiatives. Currently serving in roles at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges and as a Board Member for the Open Education Conference, Tanya previously held the position of Director of Academic Innovation and Institutional Partnerships at Rice University. Tanya co-created and instructed the Open Education Leadership Program at SPARC, fostering leadership skills in open education. Additional experience includes directing open policy initiatives at WCET, overseeing distance education regulation for the North Dakota University System, and faculty roles at Bismarck State College and United Tribes Technical College. Educational qualifications encompass an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from Benedictine University and various relevant certifications.
