Julie Strider

Julie Strider is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Currently serving as VP of Global Communications at Assurant since October 2024, Strider previously held the position of Managing Director at Converge Communications Advisory in 2024, where guidance was provided to senior executives on strategic communications and transformation initiatives. From September 2021 to September 2023, Strider was the VP and Head of PR & Communications at Bed Bath & Beyond, effectively leading communications during a transformative period for the company. At Macy's from 2010 to 2021, Strider served as Vice President of External Communications, managing significant brand initiatives and high-profile events. Earlier experience includes roles at Bauer Publishing Group, where Strider directed publicity efforts for major magazines. Julie Strider holds a BA in Public Relations from Marshall University.
