Javier Ong

Javier Ong has a diverse range of work experience. Javier started their career as a Treatment Medic at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore from March 2017 to August 2018. Javier then worked as a Phlebotomist at the Ministry of Health in Singapore from June 2020 to August 2020. Javier also interned as a Biochemist at Alchemy FoodTech from February 2021 to August 2021, where they conducted various experiments related to available carbohydrate tests and digestibility testing. Javier further gained experience as a Locum Phlebotomist at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases in Singapore from June 2022 to July 2022. Javier also worked as a Science Tutor at EduFirst Learning Centre, providing peer tutoring and conducting tutoring sessions for primary school level science from July 2022 to November 2022. Javier then interned as an Illicit Drugs Laboratory Intern at the Health Sciences Authority from July 2022 to December 2022. Currently, Javier is working as a Research Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics, where they started in January 2023.

Javier Ong pursued their education chronologically starting with their diploma in Chemistry at Singapore Polytechnic from 2013 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Javier obtained a certification as a Phlebotomist from Parkway College of Nursing and Allied Health, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
