Andy Toppin

Andy Toppin is the Vice President of Operations at Atalaya Capital Management. Andy has over 8 years of experience in hedge fund operations and assists the junior team members in their daily tasks. Andy also provides services to other groups within the firm.

Toppin began their career as an intern at Waddell & Reed Financial Services from November 2007 to January 2008. Andy then worked as a summer intern at State Farm Insurance from June 2009 to August 2009. After completing their internships, Toppin worked as an Operations Analyst at JP Morgan Chase from July 2010 to October 2013. In October 2013, they joined Fir Tree Partners as the Vice President of Operations and held this position until December 2019. Currently, Toppin works as the Vice President of Operations at Atalaya Capital Management.

Andy Toppin received their Bachelors of Science in Business from the University at Albany, SUNY. Afterwards, they pursued and obtained their certification from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
