Rita Virk

Rita Virk, CPA, CA, MPAcc, ICD.D, serves as Managing Director at ATB Financial since July 2022 and is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. Previously, Rita held key positions in internal audit and governance at various organizations, including Chief Audit Executive at both Atlas Corp. and Seaspan Corporation, and Board Director at Prospera Credit Union and Westminster Savings Credit Union. Rita has extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, and financial reporting, having worked at Cummins Inc. and Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees in accounting from the University of Saskatchewan and Haskayne School of Business, alongside leadership training from The Ivey Academy and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
