Rebecca Hazard

Rebecca Hazard is General Counsel of Riverbed Technology and Corporate Secretary to the Riverbed Board of Directors. Hazard is responsible for all legal matters as well as trade compliance.

Previously, she served as Riverbed’s Vice President and Associate General Counsel, managing a global team of lawyers and legal professionals, responsible for commercial and technology transactions worldwide, including inbound and outbound licensing, channel sales agreements, privacy, outsourcing, OEM, and intellectual property matters. In private practice, Hazard was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the Technology & IP Transactions practice group where she focused on the acquisition, financing and sale of intellectual property and technology-focused businesses, including public and private acquisition and sale and licensing transactions.

Hazard holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College (cum laude) and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
