Tendai Makomva

Tendai Makomva is a Data Scientist at Athstat since September 2022, focusing on the development of prediction models for sports betting and iGaming. Previously, Tendai served as a Teaching Assistant in the Academic Development Unit for first-year engineering students at the University of the Witwatersrand from January 2020 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as a Data Quality Analyst and Junior Mechanical Engineer at Hydro Central Heating, as well as an Engineer Intern at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, where design work on an Organic Rankine Cycle was completed. Tendai's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and ongoing Doctor of Philosophy degree, all in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
