Leroy Stumps

Leroy Stumps is currently employed as a Quality Engineer at SIFCO Industries, Inc. since September 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Engineering Student Assistant at Caltrans District 8, where responsibilities involved quality assurance and streamlining processes related to Project Initiation Documentation. Leroy contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside and served as Historian for the Materials Research Society. Additionally, Leroy held the position of Community Service Officer with the University of California Police Department, engaging in safety initiatives for the campus. Leadership roles include serving as Treasurer for the National Society of Black Engineers and involvement in Unmanned Aerial Systems for UGV development projects. Leroy also gained practical experience as an Intern at Keck Graduate Institute, focusing on medical device development for COVID-19 diagnosis and has a background in property management. Education was completed at the University of California, Riverside.
