Sam Collier

Sam Collier is a Senior GIS Consultant at AtkinsRéalis since April 2024, with a strong background in GIS spanning several years. Previously, Collier served as a GIS Consultant at Atkins from January 2017 to April 2024, where responsibilities included leading technical aspects for the East West Rail 2 project and collaborating with the environmental and ecology team on the spatial common data environment and WebGIS. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior GIS Analyst and GIS Analyst, focusing on converting highways asset data from AutoCAD to GIS formats. Prior to that, Collier worked at Western Power Distribution from October 2014 to May 2016 as a Project Assistant and Technical Data Processor, ensuring quality and mapping legacy assets using Microstation. Collier holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Keele University, completed in 2014.
