Major Galloway currently serves as Vice President at the Atlanta Housing Authority, a position held since July 2017, while simultaneously functioning as Senior Advisor at HUD since September 2002. In this capacity, Major Galloway provides guidance on policy and financial management for public and assisted housing programs, directing research and technical assistance on portfolio management. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Associate at Johnson Bassin & Shaw, where management of HUD task order contracts occurred, and as Policy Analyst for the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, focusing on advocacy and legislative recommendations. Major Galloway also worked as a Research Analyst at Aspen Systems Corporation and completed a Congressional Fellowship under the Honorable Donald W. Riegle. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Grambling State University.
