Karthik Malli Mohan

Karthik Malli Mohan is the current head of M&A finance at Atlassian. Karthik has held this position since September 2019. Prior to that, they were the head of M&A finance and FP&A reporting at Atlassian from September 2019 to August 2022. Before joining Atlassian, Karthik worked at PayPal as a corporate finance advisor from May 2016 to September 2019. During their time at PayPal, they developed ROA and ROIC models for PayPal’s business units to drive efficiency around allocation of capital investment dollars and balance sheet risk management. From September 2011 to May 2016, Karthik worked at SanDisk as a principal in M&A, investments, and operational finance. During their time at SanDisk, they led acquisitions and equity investments from strategic assessment through financial modelling and evaluation to diligence and closing.

Karthik Malli Mohan holds an MS/MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in finance and strategy. Karthik also holds a B.E from Anna University in electrical and electronics engineering. In addition, they are a CFA Level III candidate from the CFA Institute and is certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in Series 79, 63, and 7.
