John Van Geel

John Van Geel is the current head of RBUs at Atos Syntel. John has held this position since July 2010. Prior to this, they were the SVP Global Head of RBU's at Atos IT Solutions and Services A/S from September 1997 to June 2010. During their time at Heijmans, they were responsible for defining the IT strategy and IT policy, running the IT Organization, enable Business and IT alignment, sourcing and IT security management. Some of the major IT changes they were directly responsible for include the design, build and realisation of a complete new IT greenfield (Heijmans cloud) together with Centric, the reorganisation of the IT department as part of the new Heijmans Strategy, and the implementation of an invoice control system.

John Van Geel has a Drs in Bestuurlijke Informatiekunde from Tilburg University, a GMP in General Management Programm from INSEAD, and a RE in EDP Audit/IT Auditing from TIAS School for Business and Society. John also has a VWO in Dutch, English, Mathematics A+B, Economics I, John'story, and Science from Rythovius College.

They work with Julien Bensaid - Industry Head of Telecom, Media & Technology, Esteban Herrera - Industry Head of Public Sector & Defense and Head – North America, and Harish Nambiar - General Counsel. John Van Geel reports to Rakesh Khanna, CEO.
