Atreides Management, LP is a multi-billion dollar investment firm that focuses on technology and consumer companies in both public and private markets. Atreides is launching a private equity fund and is looking for a Fund Controller to assist with the operational oversight of the product. The position will have daily interaction with other members of the Finance & Operations team that supports the firm’s current crossover fund.


Oversee all operational components of the private equity fund to include managing the capital call process, coordinating deal fundings, maintaining accurate accounting records, confirming P&L allocation, and performing waterfall and carried interest calculations. Ensure data integrity for all monthly/quarterly client reporting and communication. Manage the various vendor relationships through regular communications and ongoing diligence. Assist Investor Relations with prospect requests and various ad hoc client questions. Work hand in hand with the Investment Team to help determine GAAP valuations for each private investment. Coordinate with the fund’s auditors, tax accountants and administrator to ensure successful annual audited financial statements and tax filings. Interact regularly with the internal Legal & Compliance Team on a variety of matters including regulatory filing and investment documentation. Maintain constant communication with portfolio companies in order to track their metrics and underlying performance. In addition to the PE fund, the position will be responsible for supporting the firm’s growing co-investment fund structure.


Bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting CPA certification a plus Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience, including at least 2-3 years of experience with private equity funds Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently Strong communication, documentation and analytical skills Strong Excel skills
