Ray Fan

Ray Fan has a strong background in new product development, R&D, and manufacturing of medical devices. Ray has experience in plastic injection molding, Ansys and Abaqus FEA, Pro/Engineer, MoldFlow, design of experiment (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC). Ray also has experience in installation/operation/performance qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), product/process validations, test equipment/fixtures and test procedures, and quality control for medical devices. Ray has held various roles throughout their career, including Principal Mechanical Engineer and Sr. Mechanical Engineer at AtriCure, Inc. In addition, Ray has also worked as a Product Development Engineer at Alcoa, a Project/Design Engineer at O-I, and a Design/Materials Engineer at Alberta Research Council.

From 1988 to 1991, Ray Fan pursued an MSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan.
