Gaurav Rao

Gaurav Rao has a diverse range of work experience in the field of machine learning, AI, and product management. Gaurav currently holds the position of EVP & GM Machine Learning and AI at AtScale since January 2022. Prior to this, Gaurav worked as an Advisor at DataRobot from February 2020 to February 2022. Gaurav also served as the VP of Product at Neural Magic from July 2019 to December 2021. Gaurav has also worked as an Advisor at XtremeData from June 2020 to December 2020. Earlier in their career, Gaurav held various executive positions at IBM, including Executive Director, Engineering, Watson OpenScale, Executive Director, Product, Watson Data & AI, and Executive Director, Product, Data Science and Machine Learning. Gaurav also served as the Global Sales Business Unit Executive, Analytic Solutions, Watson Internet of Things, Chief of Staff to General Manager of IBM Analytics, Emerging Technology Leader in the Information Management CTO Office, Technology Strategist in IBM Corporate Strategy, and an Engineer in Advanced VLSI Circuit Design. Gaurav started their professional journey at IBM in 2006 and has been working in the industry ever since.

Gaurav Rao holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
