Jack Sleight

Jack Sleight has extensive experience in bioinformatics and development, currently serving as an R/R Shiny Developer at Audit Scotland since April 2025. Prior to this role, Jack held various positions at Fios Genomics, including Senior Bioinformatics Developer, Senior Bioinformatician, and Bioinformatician from October 2019 to April 2025. Jack's earlier experience includes a Summer Research Student position at the University of Strathclyde in 2017 and a Laboratory Aide role at Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute from November 2015 to August 2016. Jack earned a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Glasgow and holds degrees in Biochemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde and Medicine from the University of Glasgow. Education also includes attendance at The Glasgow Academy from 2007 to 2013.
